The ceremony seems to be a forgotten part of wedding planning these days. There is so much inspiration (through blogs, pinterest, magazines, etc) for beautiful decor, reception spaces, and photography, but the ceremony is the whole POINT of the day! Without it, you wouldn't even be able to have the party afterwards! I treasure our ceremony pictures because of how deep and meaningful the ceremony itself was. We vowed to love each other through a covenant made with each other and the God of the universe, our Lord. We served each other by washing each other's feet, just as Jesus did when he expressed his love for his disciples. And ultimately, we were married, because we were designed by the Lord to spend each the rest of our lives here on earth together.
